So, my dog died, and I am sad about it, and it is therefore time to do something different.

For the moment this is a parking page while I get set up with my new web site. I am going to use it to discuss topics that are of interest to me. To date, I have been spending a lot of time on Quora, which is fun, the problem being that a cellphone and a Quora forum is not really a good combination to answer the really fascinating questions in sufficient detail. So, I will be fishing through my Quora account for questions that I would have liked to answer more fully.

As well, Wikipedia has gone to crap over the past few years, and it is time to write into a medium that I can control.

I had a web page before, once upon a time, but technology changes over the decades and it is time to see what I missed. So I will be creating a few different things using different tools. I will have a WordPress project, a Wiki project, and so on, just to remember what it feels like to work with them. I will be using the front page, here, to remeber how to use hand coded HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and whatever else is new, even though hand coding is probably passé by now.
